Before programming, please ensure your motor is turned on and your remote is on the correct channel.

  3. Motor

  4. Set up instructions

  5. Turn on the blind motor

Find the control panel on the end of the blind motor and locate the on/off switch.

Turn the switch to the on position. The red indicator light will flash when the power is turned on.

  6. Pair the remote with the blind

Press and hold the P1 button on the blind motor for 1 second to put it into pairing mode.

When pairing mode has successfully been turned on, the blind will ‘jog’ (a short movement in one direction) once. If the blind doesn’t jog, repeat step 2 from the beginning.

Within 10 seconds of the blind entering pairing mode, press ‘up’ on the remote. The blind will jog again to confirm pairing. If the blind doesn’t jog, repeat step 2 from the beginning.

  7. Check the blind direction

Using the ‘up’ and ‘down’ buttons on the remote, make sure the blind is running in the correct direction. If the blind is running in the opposite direction to the remote commands, the blind motor will need to be reversed.

Reverse the direction of the blind motor

Press and hold ‘stop’ on the remote for 5 seconds. If successful, the blind will jog once.

Make sure you test the direction of the blind again before moving on to step 4.

  8. Set the upper limit of the blind

Locate the ‘P2’ button on the back of the remote. Using a paperclip or similar, press and hold ‘P2’ for 1 second to enter limit setting mode. The blind will jog once to confirm it has entered limit setting mode.

Press ‘up’ on the remote and when the blind is as high as you want it to go, press ‘stop’. Then press and hold the ‘P2’ button for 1 second to confirm the upper limit setting.

    Tip

Avoid pressing the ‘down’ button while setting the upper limit as this will confuse the upper and lower limit programming.

  9. Set the lower limit of the blind

Locate the ‘P2’ button on the back of the remote. Using a paperclip or similar, press and hold ‘P2’ for 1 second to enter limit setting mode. The blind will jog once to confirm it has entered limit setting mode.

Press ‘down’ on the remote and when the blind is as low as you want it to go, press ‘stop’. Then press and hold the ‘P2’ button for 1 second to confirm the lower limit setting.

    Tip

Avoid pressing the ‘up’ button while setting the lower limit as this will confuse the upper and lower limit programming.

  10. Nice work, you’re all set up and ready to use your motorised blinds!

  11. Charging and battery care

  12. Charging your blinds

To charge your blinds, plug the supplied cable into the USB C port on the side of the motor and run the cable to a grounded electrical outlet.

  13. Charging your remote

To charge your remote, plug the supplied cable into the USB C port on the side of the remote and run the cable to a grounded electrical outlet. If there is no USB C port on the side of the remote, you may have a battery operated remote. Look for a release on the back of the remote to change the battery.

Always be sure to insert batteries the correct way and only replace batteries like for like.

  14. When to charge

To extend the life of your blind’s lithium battery and motor, never let the battery go completely dead. We recommend charging your blinds and remote every 6 months.

Your blinds may require more frequent charging, depending on how often they are used. When the battery is getting low, you’ll notice:

    • The red light behind the programming button flashing
    • The blind stuttering when it starts to move up or down

If you notice either of these issues, charge your blinds immediately to avoid damaging the battery.

    Tip

Use the start and end of daylight savings as a reminder to charge your blinds.

  15. Charging time

Charging the motor can take up to 7 hours. You’ll know it’s fully charged when the light on the programming button turns from red to green.

  16. Going away for longer than 2 months

If the blind won’t be in use for more than 2 months, store it at roughly half a charge and turn the motor off by flipping the switch on the head of the motor to the 0 position. Turn it back on by flipping back to the I position.

It is also good practice to turn a motor off when programming another motor to reduce the risk of accidentally programming the wrong blind.

  17. Making adjustments

  18. Changing the upper or lower limit position

Move the blind to the existing limit you wish to fine tune. Press and hold ‘P2’ on the remote for 1 second to enter fine tuning mode, the motor will jog once to confirm. Adjust the limit to the new desired height and press ‘stop’. Press and hold ‘P2’ for 1 second to confirm the new limit and exit fine tuning mode. The motor will jog once to confirm.

  19. Removing the upper or lower limit position

Move the blind to the existing limit you wish to remove. Press and hold ‘P2’ on the remote for 7 seconds. While holding ‘P2’ the blind will jog once, then jog again after the 7 seconds. The limit will be removed.

  20. Factory reset

Press and hold ‘stop’ on the remote for 5 seconds. The motor will jog once. Within 10 seconds, press and hold ‘P2’ for 7 seconds. The blind will jog once after 1 second and then twice after 7 seconds. The motor and remote are now reset, with all limits and settings removed.
