How to install slim ceiling-fix curtain tracks (single)

First put the screw through the bracket.

Locate the position you measured when ordering your curtains. For ceiling-fix installations, the brackets attach directly to the ceiling or overhead surface.

Ceiling-fix tracks can be positioned closer to or further away from the wall, depending on how far you would like the curtains to sit from the window.

For best results, install the brackets approximately 50mm from the wall to allow the curtains to hang and move freely without rubbing against the wall or window frame. Ideally, fix the first and last brackets into timber framing behind the ceiling lining within 250mm of each end of the track.

Securing the brackets

• If no timber is available within 250mm of the ends, use suitable ceiling anchors or plugs and position the first and last brackets within 100mm of each end of the track.
• Space the remaining brackets evenly between them, with a maximum spacing of 700mm apart.

Double track installations

If installing a double ceiling-fix track:

• Install the rear track brackets first.
• Position the front track brackets approximately 70mm in front of the rear track.

This spacing allows both curtains to operate smoothly without interfering with each other.

(a) Hook the back edge of the track into the bracket first.

(b) Push the track backwards until it clicks securely into place.
