If energy efficiency and temperature control are important, nothing else compares to the performance of a blockout honeycomb blind. Or you could consider a thermal curtain from our range.
Blockout honeycomb blinds work to absorb soundwaves, therefore dampening noise. Or you could consider a thick fabric curtain with extra lining.
Venetian and vertical blinds offer great flexibility and are suitable for both day and night; simply tilt the slats to filter or block light. Also very good options are light filter or sunscreen honeycombs, or light filter or sunscreen roller blinds; or you can choose a dual roller blind for a blockout night solution and day solution all in one.

We think you’re clever enough to manage that. We have step by step guides to help too. Besides, our DIY measure and installation model is part of what makes our products so affordable.

Do I get free sample packs? How many can I order?
Yes, you can order free sample packs of your favourite curtains and/or blinds to help you choose. You can order a maximum of 10 samples in a pack.

How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping on regular sized orders. However, this excludes rural delivery and oversized orders. You can find out more about shipping costs for these here.

Should I choose a front roll or back roll?
A front roll means the material rolls off the front of the blind leaving a space behind it. We recommend a front roll if you’re choosing an inside fit so the blind won’t touch the glass. A back roll comes off the back of the roll meaning it is much closer to whatever is behind it. This is better for outside fits so there isn’t a big gap between the blind and window frame.

Is it best to fit blinds inside or outside the window frame?
If there’s enough depth within the window recess to fit the blind (see our measuring guide) then an inside fit is a clean and tidy solution; just be aware on very small windows this means the blind will obstruct some of the view. An outside fit (when combined with back rolling operation) is better for not letting in light or cold air as it creates a better seal over the entire window and frame.

Can I have curtains and blinds on the same window?
Absolutely! Many people do this to get the best of insulation and light and privacy control during both day and night time. There are many combinations that you can choose but ultimately the pairings will either be a sheer or light filtering curtain with a blockout blind, or blockout curtains with a light filter or sunscreen blind.

How can I ensure children are safe around my blinds?
Blinds are operated mainly by cords or chains. When left hanging loose, these are tempting for children to play with. But within just a few moments, if wrapped around the neck or if they become tangled up in them, the cords can be a very dangerous strangulation hazard.
So, with each blind, we provide child safe cord and chain tensioners which you should fix in place out of reach of children. Ensure enough slack to be able to operate the blind but not so much the cord or chain can be removed off the tensioner. Some blinds have a long cord, for which we provide a cleat to wind the excess around; be sure to wind it all so there’s nothing dangling and be sure to fasten the cleat out of reach of children.
Another thing to check is whether there is anything nearby a child could stand on to access the blinds.
